BIRTHQUAKE TONIGHT!

HOLY CRAP! The most exciting SLC band of 2009 and my personal heroes, BIRTHQUAKE, are playing tonight at Urban Lounge and they are finally releasing their debut album! If you have never seen these guys before, you're in for a treat. Come on down and dance your bums off, buy the album too! It's pretty incredible. Laurie and I sing on the track 'Jeremiah'...we're doin' the 'ooos and ahhhs' in the background.

Okay, I'd just like to say this - I had a really great year. And a pretty great decade. Truly.

GIFT TAGS

I thought it would be fun to quickly design a few gift tags for Christmas. They are just black & white but I'm going to print these out on some colored paper and tie some ribbon through them -- I'm sure they will look sweeeet. Anyway, you can use them too. Here's the PDF!

BLIND PILOT

In a way, I'm glad no one ever told me that Blind Pilot was good. I'm glad it took me so long to find this out. Why, you ask? Because this week was a perfect week to have Blind Pilot on repeat. It was the soundtrack to my Thanksgiving - I forced my brother and sister to listen to it in the car all day. It went along very well with my slightly melancholic mood.



They will be here this Sunday at Urban Lounge with Laura Veirs, who I am also very excited to see.
