DOODLEBOOK
I got a new sketchbook for 2009. It's a Moleskine Cahier Pocket Sketchbook and it's tiny (3.5 x 5.5)! They're great for quick doodles like this:

Even without a face, this is totally Laurie. I'm excited for you to start posting your drawings! I still need to finish reading those other books, but this time NOT in the back of a moving vehicle.
